These terms cover the Sound Human browser extension and Sound Human Pro. By installing the extension or buying Pro you agree to them.

The product

Sound Human is a browser extension that points out phrases that often make writing sound machine-generated and suggests plain replacements. The free version is free to use. Sound Human Pro is a one-time purchase, currently $9.99, that unlocks the features listed on the pricing section for the browsers where you enter your license key.

Payments

Orders are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as our reseller and Merchant of Record. Dodo Payments handles the payment, sales tax or VAT, and your receipt, and its own buyer terms also apply to the purchase. After paying you receive a license key by email. Pro is a one-time payment; there is no subscription and nothing renews.

License

Your license key is for your own use on your own devices. Please don't share or resell it. We may deactivate a key that is shared publicly, refunded or charged back.

Refunds

You can get a full refund within 14 days of purchase. See the refund policy.

What it does and doesn't promise

Sound Human makes suggestions; you decide what to change. It does not claim to make text pass AI detectors, and it is not a grammar or fact checker. The extension is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from its use, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Pro.

Updates

We may update the extension and these terms. Changes to the terms take effect when posted on this page. Updates never take away Pro features you have already paid for without offering a refund.
